The Lodge
Nxala Ranch offers four stylish bedrooms, three en-suite and one with a private bathroom, a lounge equipped with satellite TV, a modern, fully equipped kitchen, and a spacious "stoep" (veranda) with braai facilities overlooking the dam which is well stocked with bass. The lodge provides guests with lovely views across the plains where game and birdlife abound.
The Ranch
Nxala Ranch is a working farm situated at the foot of the Biggars Mountain, some 45 kilometers from Dundee (in KwaZulu Natal), nestles amongst willow and paperbark trees in the tranquility of a lush, park-like garden. Nxala Ranch is situated in a malaria-free area.
Named for the elusive Mountain Reedbuck that roam the 4 000 hectares of mountains and green grassland, Nxala Ranch is your ideal breakaway.
More about the area
Situated in the center of northern KwaZulu-Natal, Dundee has long connections with coal mining, military conflict, and a rich and varied history. Although coal mining is no longer as prominent as it once was, the history and scenery of the area provide a wealth of interesting activities for visitors.
Dundee is an excellent central base for visits to Rorkes Drift, Isandlwana, Fugitives Drift, Blood River/Ncome, Maria Ratschitz ,and a host of other interesting sites
